Consistent with my policy of keeping batteries outside [where they can't hurt anyone], I'm doing another UPS installation with an external battery cabinet.
Problem is, this time I'm looking at the APC SRT series rather than the old SURT series.
The SRT series uses a different battery connector that includes some extra contacts.
If anyone has a SRT192BP battery, I'd appreciate some details on the new connector (I suspect that it's an OEM version of the APP SBS 75X connector), and the wiring of the additional contacts, which are probably used for this:
Thanks.
Otherwise I'm going to have to buy an R11 000 battery cabinet to strip and hope I can sell the battery packs.

Intelligent battery management
Temperature-compensated charging extends life and advanced algorithms recommend replacement date. The UPS can inform user which batteries need to be replaced and auto detect when additional battery packs are added.
Thanks.
