EDIT - Personally I would hold off on upgrading unless you absolutely have to have the new features.

Aperture has been updated and is available for download from the usual places.
Aperture 3.2 Update
Aperture 3.2 supports compatibility with iCloud and iOS 5, and is recommended for all users of Aperture 3. This update addresses minor stability, performance and compatibility issues, including those listed below.

Resolves an issue that could cause the Loading indicator to reappear in the Viewer when cropping a photo.
Aperture now automatically reopens into Full Screen mode if the application was in Full Screen mode when last quit.
Pinch-to-zoom gesture now automatically activates Zoom mode in the Viewer.
Left and right swipe gestures can now be used to navigate between photos in the Viewer.
Microsoft Outlook can now be chosen in Preferences as the application used by Aperture for emailing photos.
Fixes an issue that could cause Aperture, running on OS X Lion, to quit unexpectedly when using brushes to apply adjustments.
The Loupe now correctly displays magnification levels between 50-100%.
Fixes an issue that could cause Aperture, running on OS X Lion, to display the incorrect color profile on externally edited images.
The Import window now includes an option to delete photos from iPhone and iPad after they have been imported into Aperture.
The Lift & Stamp tool now displays the correct cursor icons when being used in Split View and Viewer only modes.
It all seems good so far though they changed the way straightening is presented and I think that part is a step backward

Here I'm trying to crop a straightened image - tell me what hasnt gone wrong!

First off when you cropped a straightened image it used to be masked.

Then look at the crop box as presented and then how it should be - it insists on cropping landscape even if it's set to a portrait ratio.

Aah ok. In your earlier post you only mentioned straightening. With cropping I see what you see. The aspect isn't stuck though, it's just inverse. Set it to 3x2 and the image will flip to portrait :)

I figured out what I have to do to crop but you shouldn't have to set the width to 3 and the height to 2 to get it to crop portrait. The fact is it's broken. Even dragging the crop handles is now a mission.

Noticed something else. My aperture previews no long show up in other applications. I have sharing enabled so that I can have my albums on my phone, but iTunes now say sharing is turned off, even though in Aperture it is. Switching it off/on with restarts of Aperture in-between make no difference.

I can no longer see the work aperture without thinking about portal :|

Wow, 500MB+ for that?

Is it just me of is Aperture, since the 3.2.1 update, hogging CPU for extended periods for no apparent reason?

I think I've noticed another bug. All my 7D images are shown to be taken with pattern metering. These are sets where I know I would have been using spot metering almost exclusively. Similar ones from the 40D and 50D are displayed correctly.

Unfortunately I don't my 7D with me to verify. Bwana, can you check yours?
