Hey Guys,

I am still having problems downloading from the market.

Now, there are some updates on the apps that I have and then there are new apps that I want as well. Is there a site where I can download the apk files from or any other way to get hold of them?

One I am currently looking for is Documents to go 3.0, but all the downloads links that I have found, points me back to the market.

Are they paid apps? Have you rooted and installed Market Access yet? If you have, you shouldn't have trouble accessing paid apps and updates...

No, they are not paid apps. I have rooted the phone with RyanZA's OCLF and iirc, it was since then that I am having trouble with this.

Just go www.getandroidstuff.com They have a lot of cool stuff that are normally only available on the market.

Will check now.

Edit: Again, everything points you back to the market.

You should have the market "installed" on your phone already... You should be able to access the market with all free apps by default. Installing Market Access and spoofing another carrier gives you access to paid apps. What device and which version of Android are you running?

You should have the market, but on some newly rooted phones it needs to be installed again... not quite sure where the .apk file is on your phone, try google for market reinstall after rooting.

There is also an issue where files do not want to download eventhough you see them in the market, not sure if you have this problem? In that case, go to settings, applications, manage applications, filter, show all, then clear the data of download manager and clear cache of the market app.

But as far as i know, other than torrents, there is no real way to get APK files other than through the market...

Thanx dude, this seemed to help even though the download manager was only using 313kb. If you were talking about the cache in download manager, that option was grayed out...
