Finally managed to get the 3G working on my android tablet. For those interested, i am using a K3520 USB modem, settings where, name - Vodacom, APN, internet, number to dial *99# All other fields are blank.

So, i am unable to download stuff onto my tab from the android app store, it says that my device is not linked to my primary account, Seems to be a ver 3.0 error, from what i have read.

So, are there any sites where i can download apk files to my laptop and then move them via usb to my tablet?

what tab is this?

This one, thoughts??

Not much of a "tech" person. Just saw the price and thought it was a good deal so i cought one. anyway, when the tab boot up with that green alien on the screen...LOL....it says Android 3.0

How's the spec of it though? keeping in mind what it costs.

Looks quiet nice. How does the 800Mhz processor perform? Any lag on the device?

Also, do you know how much RAM the device has?

seems to be fine, hard to benchamark it against anything else as i have never used one before ;) Although, i have not been able to download any apps for it as yet as per my original post.
It has 256MB of RAM. 2GB internal storage and supports up to 32GB micro SD.

it saved it as a zip file for some reason? i renamed it to .apk
Guess what............................... :) it works. install successful, taking a bit long to open but i guess that is because of the low spec machine i have. Waiting for it to launch now.

Please share anything else you have, these devices are quite boring in their "shell" state. Need some cool apps now. Thanks again
