APN for the ipad

What apn must be used for the new Ipad. Internet or Iphone.vodacom.com
what is the differance.
I have a vodacom sim that a bought from vodacom for the ipad.
Iphone apn does not work....

Although the default (from the carrier settings) is the iphone APN, Vodacom don't automatically provision you for it. You need to call the helpdesk and ask to be provisioned.

AFAIK, there is no difference currently. The only advantage in using the iphone APN is that you don't have to change it when there is a carrier settings update or if you restore the firmware.

because it is not just Iphone. It is something like iphone.vodacom.co.za or something. I had it written down somewhere but now I cant find it. Can someone please confirm the Iphone APN?

Have you used it before? If not it might not be provisioned on your sim. It is not like the "internet" apn that gets provisioned by default. You may ask 082111 to provision it for you or your local Vodacom Shop.
