My bill lists APN wildcard as one of my services. Anybody know what it means and how to gain benefit from it?

Currently using Mymtn APN. Should I use something else. Perhaps that will fix upload limitation?

MTN has 2 active APN's

1. Internet
2. MyMTN

The Wildcard APN makes it possible that if one gateway was to have issues you would automatically connect via the other APN without having to change the APN manually. However it still uses your selected APN by default.

This post is 4 years old but the first result on Google for wildcard APN.

When I tried to get the mtnvpn APN loaded on the card, all the guys are talking about this "new" wildcard APN.

Now will the "wildcard" APN get me access to the mtnvpn APN as well?

I need it for remote access which mtnvpn provides.
