I have been thinking of developing a app, for any college that would be interest in to investing in it but what would be the benefits of college/school to develop a app? Is this a good Idea? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Why would a university pay you for your app when they have developers there already? In terms of lecturers if they want to pay for it, or just making it an assignment for third year students..
