I am a third year IT student. We developed an app that has a proven business model with very low competition. It is already on google play and as a web app (so from iphone to pc's can use it), but it is almost on apple (apple is a bit full of tricks).
The app has great potential and a lot of people said that as well (yes, even those who ain't friends or family), but we don't have the skill, knowledge or funds to market it and get it nationwide. We got the idea from a local business that asked us to develop such an app because the previous one was working very good for them, but it was poorly developed and had to stop the app because of the flaws and people got angry because the app was faulty. It did a bit of damage to the whole idea of the app.
We fixed all the flaws that the one we based it off had, and we made a better GUI than the other one currently available. We also can go nationwide where the only competition is in CPT and JHB ONLY.
We tried to market and put things in our own hands, but failed for 3 months because of the lack of knowledge and funds.
Where can I find a mentor that can also be part of the business?
