Has anyone experienced this? My App World will disappear from my menu, although it shows up in my list of installed applications. I'm using a 9700 on 6.0.0.534. Its annoying as i have to manually download App World constantly.

This should only happen if either BIS is disabled, it will return when its re-activated on your line or when upgrading appworld and not rebooting afterwards.
By removed i mean your ISP is super daft, not just the BIS server dipping out for a few minutes.

I have seen this happen whilst BIS has been working

Try this:

Go Options > Advanced Options > Applications > scroll to blackberry application centre > click the BB button and select delete

Now go check if your app world has reappeared

I have seen this happen after the blackberry application world was upgraded from 1.x.x.x to 2.x.x.x

I'm aware of all this but unfortunately this isn't where my problem lies. There was no upgrade pending a restart (in fact I've done a few battery pulls regardless) and my BIS is fine. Its strange and very annoying.
