Apple and Google launch COVID-19 tool

Apple Inc. and Google released their Covid-19 exposure-notification tools on Wednesday, along with changes that will help public health authorities gather more information on who has the virus. [Bloomberg]

Is this supposed to be available in SA?
Unless I'm going blind, which is possible with all the sanitizer being absorbed into my body, I can't find the app on the Play Store.

Maybe a link would have been a good idea.

Not yet available in SA. I can find 2 apps in the play store but they are only about information, not tracking.

There will only be one app per region (country, in our case). So it's up to Govt. to request access to the system before we're to see a local app that does this sort of contact tracing.

Apple’s update also includes other features designed for the pandemic, including quicker Face ID unlocking for users wearing masks and enhancements to multi-person FaceTime video calls.

Not quite, it's quicker to unlock with your code, not using Face ID.
