How safe is Apple devices to deploy in Business?

Is there any Corporates using Apple Devices in the core business?

Sorry to mess with your question, but is anybody accessing their servers with their iPad (i.e. Remote Desktop).

Sure there are tons of apps that let you do that.

How about like 80% of the Fortune 500 or something? That's what Apple said.

I work for a Fortune 100 company, and we have a lot of users who prefer there iPad's to there laptops :)

to sync apple mobile devices with exchange is common practice, but attempting to use an apple mac, macbook or mac**** as a workstation in an AD domain is like stabbing yourself in the face.

Then they do little else than read stuff and type a little bit. tablets are not suited for creating content, simple as that.

:D

Great analogy.

Agree with you on this, terrible to create content. Would rather get an 11" mba.

Did a review on the iPad (when it was on iOS 3 still) and it wasn't secure. Due to review it again in June, have a feeling it will pass security this time, but don't think its feasible without a deployment/management server.
