There are around 30 know threats that target Mac exclusively. There are more that target, wouldn't you know, any Windows apps like Word and Excel that you might have on your machine and in most cases, threats require the user to install a program as well as enter their system password. Simple rules apply, as they do for users of any platform... Keep your Mac's firewall on and just be smart.
