US Patent D509,899 (used in Apple vs. Samsung) has been called a "patent on rounded rectangles" by people that dislikes Apple's recent lawsuits. This was, of course, not completely correct. The USPTO has fixed this deficiency on 6 November. US Patent D670,286 is indeed for a rectangular tablet with rounded corners and a black bezel.
