For those who have access to it I figured this might be a good thread to kick off with how/where/what you are using it for because quite frankly I'm struggling a bit or it isn't obvious enough.

Like I tried to have it write me an email this morning by hitting Command twice and asking Siri to have at it...but jack **** happened and it tried to do some kak on the internet.

Seems pointless if I'm still doing all the work of writing it and then it re-writes it for me, but I'm convinced in the demos they just had it do the things.

Maybe it's because it's US-only and still a bit broken here but I've had an instance or two where it sort of showed up iMessage but then before I could let it do anything it buggered off again.
 
So as is typical of Apple the “auto pilot” nature of things gives you very different results.

Seems as some sort of protection mechanism when you try to take out watermarks then most of the time it does this weird censoring vibe and says “safety filter applied”

But then you keep going and try to shape around it rather than selecting it and at some point you get a winner.

Of course it still does an incredible botch job some of the time especially with my own photos but it also does some clever automatic highlighting of things you may want to remove in your own photos.
 
Thought the Writing Tools of AI in Sequoia were rolling out in 15.1 — did I have that wrong?

Don't use Apple Mail, but tested inside Notes and Pages — and no options appearing for the Writing Tools.
Anyone know when this feature rolls out, or if I am missing something obvious?

Oh — running a M1 MBP, so think I qualify for using it.

US only on 18.1 so you'll need to switch your region.
 
Finally getting round to playing with Apple Intelligence and it turns out it's not loaded yet. So changed the language to US (my region is UK) and went back to the "Apple Intelligence & Siri" in settings and joined a 'waitlist'. A few minutes later and it's downloading.

Does anyone have it working yet and what have you been doing?
