Apple iPhone 3G 16Gb

hey people.. hw u guys??Let me get to the point..

I recently recieven an Aplle iPhone 3G 16Gb from australia.. and i tried to put my MTN sim card inside.. and there was no service.. .

So i did that whole thing of using quikePwn and updating to the latest software and all.. then iwent to a wi-fi spot, and downloaded yellowsnOw.. which apparently unlocks the iPhone to any network..

I went onto 'Cyndia" and downloaded the yellowsnOw thing.. it gave me a new program called "BossPrefs" i go into the program and turn yellowSnow on.. i dnt knw where to go from there! Please ppl.. i reali need this phone to work with an MTN network

Extra info: I've inserted a vodacom simcard inside.. and it still does not work..
