Apple iPhone 3G killer

obviously the marketing guy at vodafone suffers from copy paste idiot mentality and has no idea that they are actually 2 different phones

talk about copying, what this Apple attempt at push mail and GPS, its SUX!
you cant even change the iPhone battery yourself, must be a highly specialised task :P

What is this the 120th iPhone killer now? when will it end?

only 120th? geez, thought I would've at least been the 1000th by now :)

I saw this about another phone and it said it best :

No, the SamsungSGH-i900 Omnia is neither an iPhone nor a iPhone wannabe but it's a typical Samsung smartphone. But unlike most other Samsung touchscreen phones, this one is running on Windows Mobile and Samsung did its best to enhance, tweak and improve Windows Mobile as much as possible. At the end it'S quite challenging to launch a phone with an operating system, which was design for a stylus-use, and leaving the stylus.
The design might reminds a little bit on the iPhone, on the other hand it also reminds on the Samsung SGH-F480/F490 or Qbowl and not everything is an iPhone copy-cat today. Other manufactures like Samsung have a way longer tradition in making great mobile phones.

What are you on about?
F480, F490 and Qbowl are all iPhone killers they came straight after the iPhone.

Thanks for proving my point

Sorry we need to explain it slower for an iPhone user.... my post did everything except prove your point. The point was that people, and particularly iPhone users, seem to think that every phone that gets released now is being released as competition to the iPhone. The quote that I posted merely points out that these companies have been making phones for many, many years more than Apple... so if anything the iPhone was an attempt at a Samsung or Nokia killer.
