Well kinda my point.
1. You have a database of CSAM content. Now looking beyond that, what else is available as such?
2. You have to have multiple matching files of CSAM content before getting flagged. Now looking beyond that, what else is available as such?

It's not a case of, let's flag this type of file or let's flag this one file.
It has to be very specific. A type of content that's been indexed and with original files distributed widely.
Lastly, it's not automated. There's a human at the end to confirm everything so nothing about 'AI'.

What's going to stop Apple from eventually referencing all the content on your phone to other databases?
Now Apple is making it seem like they are all into privacy but when all their users are locked into their ecosystem with no way out because leaving the ecosystem will disrupt their life in a significant way. Apple can just change their policy with no financial backlash by offering similar services to find dissidents for billion if not trillion dollar contracts.

You’re backing up photos to iCloud.
Due to the nature of it, Apple can already ‘process’ them, but they’re not doing that.
They’re doing the matching on your device with the upload, to flag content they already know about.

The entire way that is it done is by Apple already knowing what content to match against. They’ve even obfuscated the manner so that to be flagged you have to have multiple matching files to go past the threshold.

Don’t care about rights of those that violate children just like I don’t care about looters that were hungry.

‘What about when..’ examples are pointless.
 
Do not digitise or save to these iCloud type services **** you are not prepared for the entire world to see.
