Can users of the 'old' apple keyboard (USB) tell me if it sports any additional USB ports like the new keyboard? I'd like to get one for my Macbook when using at home and I see the new one has additional USB ports but the price is about double that of the old keyboard.

It does have two USB ports. Or the wired version does.

The USB ports on the old keyboard is USB 1.1 though - really just to plug your mouse in.
Yeah - I forgot about that.
You could always get the older bluetooth keyboard and a wireless mouse. I'm not sold on these new keyboards yet.
Damn - will have to get the new board then...!
I dont see why not. I've done it with older usb mac keyboards. I would think it would be compatible due to bootcamp.

yes but only if you peel the "Designed for Windows Vista" sticker of your PC and stick it on the new Mac Keyboard

Apple Centre (Waterfront) have confirmed they have been supplying the old keyboards with the new Macs because of supply problems.
The most recent news is that they now have the new keyboards, but none of the new metalic iMacs!
I tried out the new keyboard - they seem very strange to me. There is quite a different feel and the gap between keys is bigger. What do you think?
