Apple Mac Pro 2 X 2.8 Quad advice?

Thanks again for the info, as I said I might play the odd game and I have a Macbook Pro for that if I really wanted too.

I just cannot pass up this price :D

Be careful, if the company aggrees to offer you warranty from date of purchase great, but usually the warranty as registered on apple's gsx is not from date of purchase but from date of issue. Which means if u lose the slip, and try return it to an apple dealer, u might be shy a month or two on the warranty

Unfortunately no Cinema display I had a 20" which I hated and flogged but I replaced it with a Sony 50" Plasma HD display panel which is just the bestest :D

Are there any Blu-Ray drives for the mac :confused:

indeed there are, i will get details for u and post em....they are not as pricey as u might think either...

I've never had a problem with any Mac's that I purchased from the office generally DigiCape want client's POP. But it's a Mac and touch wood so far all of the 5 I have worked great! Except my Macbook HDD which died a month out of warranty but DigiCape very kindly replaced it at no charge :D
 
Sorry Vertigo my bad never read the post correctly, about the name calling thought these boards were immune to that type of behavior, long time since some called me a chop or even worse pumpkin....well at least not to my face in the flesh.
 
Yeh you should produce a license and your dealer should not sell it to you unless you produced a business TV license :P but you know you can get around it :D
 
It's a difficult choice, I would wait and see. 26K is a damn good price thou...
 
So I took delivery of the machine yesterday, I have jammed in another 250GB HDD is it worth using the Raid for increased read/write performance or am I just complication things?

Dont bother. Its like the ppl who take off journaling because its a speed decrease....why would u do it? WHY?
