Anyone here use it? Your impressions of it? Do you think it's worth the R600 pricetag? Also it works with Windows XP right? How well does it do in gaming?

Got to wonder how much time you've spent actually using one - this is my first apple mouse and I dont have any complaints.

EDIT - I do have one complaint - I keep misplacing the blaady thing

Is there anywhere i can pick one up in the R400 range. I know the wired version goes for about that price but I'm a bit cash strapped :(.

The tail-less model is the more accurate version.

bump...anyone know of a place that has the bluetooth wireless version of this mouse for cheap? Preferably less than 500 bucks? can anyone hook me up please..

Pricing is going to me pretty much standardised - have you considered placing an ad in the classifieds? Perhaps a fellow forumite might have one they want to get rid of.

Didn't think of that...will do it now. I'm preferably looking for a new one not used but we'll see what happens..bwana do you have this mouse? If so, you think it's worth the pricetag?

I like it and would get another but that doesnt mean you'll like it. It takes a little time to get used to the mechanics and the overall feel of it.

Well I've only seen it and I like the way it looks but I also currently have a mouse that's very similar in shape and size to the MM so I don't think getting used to it will be such a big issue...btw does it make a 'click' sound when you click or does the 'touch sensitive' feature mean it's quiet?

It makes a click sound though not particularly loud. I find the feedback helps.

I have only used the tailed version - the buttons on the side and multi directional scrolling is cool but it takes some getting used to (I don't use it often so I guess otherwise it would be easy enough)

Found a thread that shot down my enthusiasm for this mouse :(...seems like Logitech MX1000 is pretty popular though
To each their own :) You've got to use the thing - not me :D

What did the thread say?

It is not that expensive, getting a bluetooth laser mouse, with the mighty mouse battery life for under R500 would be difficult. It will work, you need to set the WPA key too 00000..., for some odd reason apple used security on a mouse which usually isn't necessary...(and then set the key blank...)
