Hi all,

Just a quick one regarding Apple Music. If I have the service on 2 iPhones but the one is 16gb and the other 64gb. So I want to download songs offline for the larger iPhone and just stream for the 16gb.

If I turn off the iCloud music library it seems like it might work.

So basically my problem is I want to download songs for offline use on a larger iPhone but then still to use the smaller iPhone for streaming (not downloaded for offline).

I haven't been able to find anything in the webs. Any help would be great!

Thanks Guys!

iCloud Music Library has nothing to do with Offline.

You need to choose on each device what you want offline. So simply do less on the smaller one.

Also iOS10 is adding a nice feature to automatically limit the size of your offline
Library.

You need iCloud Library if you want stream stuff From your own collection that isn't on Apple Music.

****

Tldr; simply don't mark stuff for offline on the smaller device. Then it only streams.

Ah okay great. I tried this and it worked 100% like you said. I was just confused as all the music on the large iPhone appeared on the small iPhones library but it wasn't on the iPhones storage.

Thanks for the help!
