Hi Guys,

I recently complete the Snow 101 OSX 10.6 exam as of the end of April 2011.

However now I see Lion (OSX 10.7) is due to be released in July - do Apple have a re certification policy like other vendors where you can take the upgrade for free if 90 days or less have passed since you took the initial (now defunct) exam?

Also I've heard that the re certification exam is merely a matter of doing an online exam through Apple which does not need to be done from a testing center but can indeed be done from your home or work - any truth in this?

Any ideas?
Thanks,
J

Congratulations. I did the 10.6 training and prometric exam at Core in Jan last year so would also be interested to find out what the deal is with Lion. An online exam would be first prize but you would still probably need to purchase textbooks as there appear to be quite a few changes from a diagnostics perspective with the introduction of the recovery partition etc. The farkup is that the courseware textbook is not available for public purchase, you have to get it through an official Apple trainer. Sucks.
