Apple tv and netflix

Hi all. I do have a thread in the apple section about this but I think this thread is more appropriate. Is there any way to set up netflix on an apple tv with unodns by only putting in the dns settings on the apple tv and not the router. Or because of netflixes auto dns do you have to put the dns settings in the router now? Thanks
