Apple Watch launch date and pricing

Charging your watch every day will become very tiring very quickly.

Isn't it just easier to take your 5 inch phone out your pocket than to wrestle with a tiny screen and knob just to read an e-mail?
Once you realize that, why get an Apple watch in the first place?

Apple must by sharting with laughter all the way to the bank.

They have been laughing all the way to the bank for decades already. Unlike Sony and Samsung who must be wondering why with greater market share they still lose money.

Apple sell more than a functional device. Its a fashion accessory. Its the same reason people buy a Rolex instead of some cheap watch. Why people go for expensive brands like Gucci etc. Critics mock this. But its a successful business model. You wont sell to the masses, but you will be profitable. And thats what business is all about. Its only the losers in business who think that making a buck is shameful.

Me personally, I wont buy an iWatch. I dont like wearing watches. But I'm not going to freak out because other people want to. :)

Why? Whatever watch I'm currently wearing, I wind up every morning. It is obviously not needed, but I do it so I don't run into surprises.
Charging every evening seems very much the same

So, who is getting one of these.... I think the sport watch will sell in quantities as it has a HR monitor + GPS + Music which most of the sports watch are missing, especially music player. Also, the prices is comparable to the existing models from the likes of Garmin, Polar and Suunto.

I would take a Garmin, Polar or Suunto over it any day. The existing players have refined their product over time, the Apple is still new.
Will the Apple have the battery life of the existing ones? Is it waterproof?

It's got a IPX7 waterproof rating (Withstands incidental exposure to water of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes)
However, that generally means it is water resistant, but you shouldn't swim with it

I can't say the looks of these watches are all that appealing. I find it hard to believe people would be buying it for its looks. People will buy one because its an Apple. And only afterwards will they figure out what they will actually do with it, besides tell the time.
