Thanks I see it now. I hope I get mine sooner than thatif you on the website and select the watch... at the read more option.
So one has to have a discovery card?
Me. Been waiting since 10 October.Who is still waiting for their watch?
Been on the list since 23rd October.
I decided to email them to ask about a ballpark date. Not asking for an exact date that I'd hold them to, just an estimate.
But they could just confirm I'm on the waiting list.
I wouldn't touch this with a 50ft barge pole!
When Discovery first launched these deals, I called them up and asked: "What happens if I'm sick and cannot exercise?" Their reply: "Sorry for you, you'll have to pay".
In addition to this, the fact that they can chop and change their Vitality rules as and when they feel like it, does not sit well with me nor many others (a simple Google search will confirm this).
Either way, it's your money and your decision so good luck.
I've had mine for a year, and I think it's a good deal, most of the months I make my points targets and don't have to pay anything for the watch, and even if it's a month where you pay full price it comes to R240, which doesn't really break the bank...I use the watch as a golf GPS and for timing parkruns and counting steps mostly.
I paid the activation fee because I thought it was needed to go onto the waitlist.Have you already paid the activation fee? Reason is I wonder what would happen if they fail to provide you with a watch in the 90 day window that you have to collect before you have to pay the activation fee again.
The original creator of this thread got his watch within a week, but Im assuming he picked a watch that wasnt as popular.Hi Have any of you got your watch yet i a have been on the waiting list since 10 Oct.I am now at the 3 different stores on the waiting list.
I really think this is pathetic that apple cannot give us some type of lead time. As for the Discovery comment yes ,i also contacted them and explained the situation they also told me to call them before it expires and they will extend the time period.I paid the activation fee because I thought it was needed to go onto the waitlist.
I discussed with istore and vitality last week regarding my situation and they said that Vitality will extend my 3 months expiry as long as I call them just before expiry. And if it cant be delivered within 5/6 months then I will get refunded.
Well according to their online store, it says January. I am hoping it will be sooner than that.I really think this is pathetic that apple cannot give us some type of lead time. As for the Discovery comment yes ,i also contacted them and explained the situation they also told me to call them before it expires and they will extend the time period.
I doubt it. I haventHas anyone received their watch yet?
