Does anyone else have issues with Workout on their Apple Watch , I have a Series 4 and i often find that the heart rate is very erratic, switches on and off.
Also do you know what the iStores stance is on this. Will they fix this out of warranty?

Have the iStore run diagnostics on it. You can do this via a online chat also.

I've got a Nike + Series 4 and had the same issues constantly. It looks like this is not a thing anymore with Watch OS7. Been on a few runs and walks and the heart rate reading did not drop off and come back after a while. Are you still getting this on OS7?

However, when we do a 5km run, my wifes watch shows as 5.5km and mine as 5km, is this a calibration issue, has anyone else experienced the same inaccuracy? Sounds like a calibration issue. I have a series 3 and a friend series 4. When we go for jogs we get the same distance. Try calibrating and compare again.

I remember reading somewhere that one should go for an outside run/walk when getting the watch, so as to allow it to calibrate properly with the GPS. So yes, calibration issue.
