The whole face goes yellow. Apparently its not uncommon for the 8.

A cashier at Clicks was impressed by mine when I used it to pay. His reaction was "yhoo how much for a watch like that?"

So phone is in for repairs. Watch is the povo GPS model alone.
Was suprised to see my bank cards were removed from the Wallet app on the watch. Thought the watch would still be able to work some-what independantly in this regard.

Even if it had a sim, loosing the phone would disable that too.

Wallet is interesting though, I assume you had to factory reset or something on the phone that must have caused it cause I’ve certainly used my wallet well out of range of my phone.

Watch activation of card was also in addition to the phone, same with the Mac…

Picked up an Ultra 2 duty free yesterday and using a chunk of Airmiles got it less than half price. Just set it up and although i was worried at the size of it, it sits great and looks pretty good with the Alpine Loop.

Sold mine , too big for my wrist , felt very uncomfortable.

I replaced my alpine with the ocean loop after maybe 3 or 4 months. I exercise like 6 days a week, the strap would have been cleaned in the shower daily, but eventually had to start washing it as well and that too stopped helping.

Clearly Apple did not test the athletic straps with athletes who actually sweat.
