Apple Watch thread

Question:
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has cellular built in it seems, and I gather it's an esim
Would I need a separate vodacom contract for this esim, and my watch then has it's own cell number? Or do you get esim activated so that your phone and watch would ring, even if I've left my phone at home for example and I'm out hiking

I have the new black ultra and I’m trying to find the apple milanese loop… no luck.

Anyone know where I can buy one?

It’s only available with the watch, not sold as an accessory yet so if you really want it you’ll have to import it.

I actually just took the Pitaka band, it’s half the price of what the Milanese would probably cost.

I took the ocean one which is a bit more as it looked nicer with the titanium

Yeah, have had it for I think weeks now. For my fit it’s useless for running, but for everything else it’s fun. I just swap to my old ocean band for a run and swap back when done
 
Next Apple Watch SE to have a new design, Series 11 and Ultra 3 to get new features

2025 is going to be a big year for Apple SE devices, it seems. The next iPhone SE, now rumored to be called iPhone 16E, is due to launch by April, and the company is also working on the next Apple Watch SE.

This will allegedly come with a new look. Last year the device was rumored to sport a plastic body to keep the price low, so that might be what the new look is all about - or, in the best case scenario, the new Apple Watch SE will be based on a more recent Apple Watch design unlike its predecessor.

If the new model is made out of plastic, then Apple can come out with a bunch of colors to make things interesting.

The Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3, on the other hand, won't introduce any design changes. That said, the Ultra 3 should have support for satellite connectivity as well as 5G RedCap, and high blood pressure detection might finally arrive in 2025 with this generation. The blood pressure feature won't give you exact readings but will inform you if you may be in a state of hypertension.
