Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Stream

Hello,
I am a new undergraduate student at UNISA and I am having trouble registering my modules.
My issue is distinguishing between year modules and semester modules. With this particular degree, do I register for all 8 modules in one go or do I divide them in half(4 in semester 1 and 4 in semester 2), I really don't understand this part can anybody lend me some advice please.

Hi there!

No worries! Okay so I know that UNISA sent us a notice late last year to inform us that all science and computing degrees will change from semester to year modules from 2021 onwards. I therefore believe that the website is out of date, and that the registration page is correct. All of your modules should, according to the notice, be year modules. I'm finishing my degree this year so I'm missing this change (2nd and 3rd year modules are only changing from 2022), so I don't have any experience with this. However, I believe that because those are all year modules, you will register for all 8 now, as you need the whole year to complete the coursework.
