applied maths or stats?

Guys, help me decide.

Which degree would be more useful for me: a BSc (Mathematics + Applied Mathematics) or BSc (Mathematics + Statistics at Unisa?

As much as I hate it, you'll tend to find stats being used way more than pure applied maths.

And when using applied math, chances are you will be using stats anyway ...

Doesn't matter, do whichever one you enjoy more.

I enjoy doing maths. Just don't know which one of the 2 I should pick along with pure maths.

Undecided. I enjoy maths. So, will be studying this for 'fun'.

If you're good enough to complete either one, then you're good enough to figure out whatever pops up when you need to. I chose applied maths because I preferred methods and application over statistics, but I did end up doing a fair amount of statistics during my degree. Whichever one you choose, you'll invariably end up doing a bit of both.

Then again I get paid to just do pure maths
