My Ipod nano 6th Gen's on/off button stopped working this morning,

Tried calling the Istore heldpdesk, who did not understand what was an on/off button, and told me to book a session of support through the website-CORE: GET STAFf THAT AT LEAST KNOW WHAT THIS IS-NOT IDIOTS!!!!!!!!

Evetually got hold of the Service centre for Apple/Core-They told me to bring it in, they will ship it to the USA and the USA will advise if it will be repaired or they will offer be a replacement at cost-This shipment cot more than the unit- who pay for this?-they cannot tell me.

They can also not tell me what the ave cost for replacement untis are!!! Seriously?!!!!

In 2012, in our household there are 3 Ipads, 4 iphones, 3 Ipods--In 2013_THERE WILL BE NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!::mad::

I'm guessing your keyboard manufacturer is getting a call soon.

CORE support in SA SUCKS! - and they are not part of Apple..

If we had a REAL Apple store, they would have probably swapped your device right away..

So yeah, CORE support in SA = CR@P

I can but agree, my iPhone 3S went tits-up after upgrade to iOS4. I would get 'No Service' then 'Sync with iTunes' and only way to recover was to restore before repeating the cycle.

Apple (Core) was so useless their techies couldn't even load the software once in the two weeks they had it, while I was doing it a couple of times a week at that stage.

That's when I decided Apple can sick my duck & rid my household of Apple products.
