Appointment date, but no time

Telkom sms'ed me to say I have an appointment next week Monday for my DSL installation, but no time was given. Apparently it's an all day appointment, so they can rock up at any time. Now seeing as no-one is home during our business hours, how will this work? I can go there if someone calls me, but doubt the tech will call as soon as he arrives at my door?

Any similar experiences? What to do?

Last few times it worked like this:
The Tech called us the day prior to arrange an estimated time.

I have also in the past called telkom and they got the tech on the line and we arranged a time that way.

You're lucky.

Best case that I've had is to ask them to tell the tech to call me in the morning of the appointment date to let me know when he can come. Worst case, they rock up whenever, no notice.
