Apps accessing the internet

I use du meter to monitor my bandwidth usage, but would like to know if there are apps out there the show me what apps are actually accessing the internet.

most software firewalls should allow you to do this. I use kerio personal firewall, allows me to see what apps are listening on what port, how much bandwidth they are using and destination IP address and port.

You can use "DU Super Controler", it even allows you to limit the upload/download speed per app.

Although it shows you what apps are currently connected, you can have a look (and manually limit) any app that has ever connected (while "DU Super Controler" was running) by delving into the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Zuka Software\DUSuperControler\LocalHost
