You can play Live perfectly with the Arcade, you will start to run into problems if you start downloading map packs or attempt to download a few Arcade games. Then you will need to get the HDD.
Every one of those games has a patch to correct glitches now but they are small and will fit on the bundled memory card no problem.....

I personally use https://gamepointsnow.com but a lot of the guys also use eBay.
If you want to buy locally then Animeworx (www.awx.co.za) and Take2 both import cards.

I was just reminded by another thread that not all games can be played online without a HDD.
Burnout Paradise requires a HDD for online play and something else that I can't quite remember..... Make sure you check the back of the boxes before assuming....

Yes on all counts.
The only two that are limited are Burnout and Crackdown, both because of the DLC only.
