So lately Fourways has had power go off often during the day, for hours at a time (usually 4 or so).

Power went off today at exactly 12, which seems oddly similar to this:

It shows that they aren't load shedding, but power went off exactly when it should have according to this schedule, and i'm pretty sure somehow that it will come back on again at 4.

Is anyone else experiencing this sort of thing in other areas ?

No official Eskom nationwide load-shedding as far as I know but aren't some local authorities implementing their own version in some areas to encourage payment of accounts?

Weltevreden Park had rolling blackouts most of last week.

So just an update from here, power came on again at 4:30 on the dot - exactly according to the load shedding schedule. As far as i know they have no problem with collection of payments here, it just seems like they are load shedding without announcement.

That may be your municiaplity... Eskom themselves are not doing any loadshedding, or asking the municipalities to do it either.
