Are iBurst throttling/blocking P2P?

Dusk, other point than bandwidth pulls me off is that my computer being searched at all.

As far as i know , it only searches within a specific directory.
aka your download folder.
(I might be wrong)
So you dont want it something to be accessed , dont put it that directory .

I run the torrent downloader on a "download PC" anyway because i know that virusses and spyware is common ground with file sharing. So there is nothing of real importance on the PC so if all goes pear-shaped , i format and reload.
Access to the rest of the PC`s on the network are also password protected and each PC has a different username and password.

So the entire youporn, pichunter website is illegal?
Or are you just phising for new websites to surf ? :P

If no-one issues a DMCA notice, it stays up, like YouTube. However, it may still be copyrighted - usually is. Just because it's pr0n does not mean there are no copyrights.

so iburst throttles torrent data? thats ... crappy.

i started having trouble with my internet a few days ago, coincidentally i installed a torrent client a few days ago also...

but please help me, it seems my entire internet has been throttled to about 3-5Kb/s, not just torrents. from browsing to regular downloads, eveything is crawling - if it even works at all D:

what can i do to fix it? would deleting the torrents and client do any good?

This thread is kind of old. New factors may have come into play. iBurst is going downhill so it may not even be the torrent client.

hm, well idk this is really starting to piss me off  i pay my money for supposedly a 1 Mb/s connection - but i'm lucky to get 80Kb/s when things are running smoothly.

5Kb/s is just unacceptable !!

I want to cancel my contract and switch to someone else now.
