Are there any data charges with "A"-GPS?

Are there any data charges if you allow the blackberry torch to find its location with the help of the cell towers?

I've heard different things, i thought i'd get a solid answer.

I'm with vodacom, using the blackberry service.

No to my knowledge, no there aint. Even the data used to download the SatNav maps as you drive is included with your BIS.

To be safe, go to your settings, then "Advanced" then to TCP/IP and enter blackberry.net into your APN field. Dont put anything under password or username. Leave both blank. This will force the phone to use BIS.

As long as ur using BIS A-GPS will go via the blackberry service.
