looks like sometimes with sentech people cant connect, so does sentech give you an emergency dialup number?

Does any1 know of any free ISP's?
Absa used to be free for absa customers but is not free anymore

Glory Glory Man United!

Sentech will not give you an emergency dialup account for free, just like WOL, ABSA etc wouldn't. IMHO Sentech is more stable than many ISPs, and stability will increase evenfurther.

WOL and ?Sunday Times? are both "free" ISPs, but then you'd have to dial a 0862 / 082 / 083 / 084 number.

I still have my Metroweb dialup account. 100MB of webspace, several email addresses, etc, at R60 per month - so I use Sentech for the connection, and Metroweb for mail and webspace.

Huh ?
Am I missing something ?
Does telkom give wireless modems to theire users incase they cannot connect?

That just ... wouldnt make sense. I'm getting wireless for a reason,
why would I use a phonline anyways ? ;) hehe,
sorry, I just dont find that ... logical, they dont do dial-ups from what I understand.

I agree with that. When my service went down for one night and I complained he tells me don't you have diap up!!!

Whats the point of going wireless if they expect you to keep your dial up.

..- dot dot dash ;)
