Are there proper lithium ion UPS systems for a desktop PC?

And even brands we know is **** sometimes

Certain 750/850w can't recall brand thinking it was gigabyte

I have had 650 watt PSU that can't handle two gpu's and then have a super flower 450w pull the exact same GPUs without problems

You could just get one of these

naa,

Ah thanks. This looks perfect for what I need to do.

If you buy directly from https://cloud-connexion.co.za/ may be cheaper as well.

Only R100 bucks cheaper through them unfortunately :/ Here's their Google form to order directly from them:

Gigabyte is ass, that is why.

I want something like this but with a push-button manual switch to inverter.

I don't want it to always use the PPS if power is down only when I manually switch it over must it do so but must auto-switch back when grid is active.

Poop. Just saw this:

Internal switch over module (20ms)

I don't think this is fast enough to always ensure the PC will stay on...

I had the Mecer 2400 which had a 20ms cutover, PC stayed up during a cutover.

you'd need to put a smart switch in?

Some complain on Mecer's 20ms.

I know my Bedroom TV & PS5 turns off on switchover. Oddly enough the 58" just go blank for a couple of seconds and the Xbox is none the wiser.

Bedroom Media PC also just works but the Media PC in the lounge sometimes reboots.

TLDR: Milage may vary on 20 ms.
Proper UPS normally aim for 5-10 ms

Never had that, in fact was at a friend who has my old mecer and we were playing Xbox on his 58" TV switched over no issues.

And then everybody buys gigabyte cards cause that is what is most in stock locally

Msi is in a different league imo

Had some of those red and black twin frozers 1060

That cooler was so awesome the fans would sometimes not even spin up while mining

And the fans still working great after years of mining on other cards even cheaper brands

Gigabyte fans should be the picture in the dictionary next to ****

I emailed the manufacturer and they said it should be good enough for PC switch over. Have ordered a unit and will see if this turns out to be true. If not I'll return the unit.

Youngest spawn & her boyfriend are both avid games, actually making a few bucks on the side from their skills, so the needed backup for their 2 gaming PC's so they can tournament uninterrupted.

It was no stock over Dec & she can't put in a fixed system so I recommended this one from Geewiz & it seems to work for them.. dunno about swithcover etc but they don't complain

My axpert type is rated 20ms and none of my devices restart

I don't have a single pc without 80plus power supply though (some normal some gold some platinum)

I'm running two Axpert 5kva inverters for the house, same switchover time. Nothing turns off during the switchover (Multiple TVs, multiple computers etc.) . My LED house lights do go off and on for a split second, if you blink you will miss it.
