A few comments from MyBroadband members in the Software Development Education Survey:

• Strive to build apps with a purpose whilst in varsity. Entrepreneurship all the way. Industry vs. Training doesn't weigh up!
• More practical experience (ie. time to "mess/play" around with code) especially those doing the more formal degrees like B.Sc.
• Education should be about important principles and knowledge, not what businesses may require at any particular time.
• More practical exposure, become language & os agnostic -> use best tool for the job.
