Are you a typical SA Internet user?

I saw a 6 month contract based on a specific product at R500 an hour the other day, was quite tempted to apply.

You have got to be joking...

11% of couples/singles fork in 70k per MONTH? Sorry, but I don't buy this for a moment. :wtf:

Hey man... It's 11% of internet users in SA. Not 11% of singles and couples.

Bull. Everyone knows there are no women on the internet.

Actually in the US its developed to the point where 51% of internet users are women :/ Women just like to communicate more than us guys. It's not surprising to me.

I know, it said so clearly in the article so I didn't stipulate that again in my post.

If you consider how many Internet users there are in SA, 11% is still preposterously high. I'll take a good wager that if MyBB ran a poll we won't come close to that 11% :)

That is nonsense. There are about 10million net users in SA, which would mean about 1.1million in a house with R70k income. Even assuming 1 user per house, the figures do not add. LSM 10 high ( income of about R33k pm ) is at about 1.1million.

It is 11% of survey respondents.

The sample is not representative of the population. You cannot read anything statistically significant from the data.
