Excluding top-ups, additional accounts, DSL rental and other expenses, I've spent a total of +/- R17640 for one 3GB account over the last 6 years. That one account gave me 216GB total in a six year period.
What it's like now:
I'm almost a third of the way into getting back those 6 years in a couple of days. Are you getting yours?
Let's say the average internet user has a 3 GB account and has had one since 2004 like myself, and SA's internet penetration is about at 5 million as reported. We're talking +/- R 88, 200,000,000. It's about time we got uncapped with that kind of investment wouldn't you say?
Obviously these are very simplified calculations and not an exact reflection, but if you really think about it, we've been screwed for years!
