Are you having trouble sending attachments through Gmail webmail

Hi All of a sudden I am unable to attach documents (PDF, XLS, DOC, etc) to emails as gmail >

here is the error message: "XXX.pdf 62K - Attachment failed Retry Remove Help"

I am using firefox, safari and Opera all same problem. Also checked with colleague at work and he too has the same problem.

We are both using a proxy to access internet.

Windows Vista 32 Business SP1 on both machines.

ok, just tried IE7 at it works...seems like gmail has a new way of attaching documents...progress bar appears...is this flash based or javascript???

man, Gmail has been up to some nasty tricks these last couple of days!

Jah, Gmail has just recently 26 Feb 2009 upgraded the way we attach documents--now we can do this using flash technology, attach multiple docs at a time (this is now the default).

Update: all browsers that support flash are able to upload files using the new progress bar method.
