Well i went arena last nigth with my 2 bodies elemental shamie retri pala and myself boomkin. We got wasted so bad 0/10.

Well they seem to target the shamie every time he dies first no matter what me and the pala tried i even specced resto used my ballance gear to try keep him up still he died like shamies get targeted first in the start it was a joke now its not even funny anymore.

We really sucked dont think arena will see me again i do much better in duels and bg.
Most guys in there is OP.
O and i even tried feral with my s1 set that whent better but still at least me and palla got to kill 2 .

Never lost so bad in a game before either wow pvp is really out of ballance or i found the one game i suck at.

Had too lvl all the way to 70 to find that out.....

Shammies always get focused first because they're both the easiest class to kill and also because if left alone they're the biggest threat due to their high burst damage. their dispels, their interrupts and their powerful totems (eg poison cleansing, tremor, earthbing and grounding)

I do okay in my 3v3. The last few weeks won about 70% of matches although this week we did bad for some reason only winning about half (kept running into resto druid + ms warrior + rogue teams of imbaness :( ). My job as resto shammy is basically to 'tank' the opposing team as I *always* get zerged first, for this you need extremely high resilience (mines the highest on my team, at 366) and to be resto (earthshield helps a lot along with uninterruptible heals)). Tell your shammy also to spec for Improved Ghost Wolf and Toughness if he hasn't already, they help a lot. Basically even as a enhance shammy his job will be to 'kite' enemy melee around with earthbind and frostshock while mainly purging enemies and interupting/dps'ing the enemy healer. If he just charges in blindly and tries to nuke someone every match you will lose every time.

Lastly you just gota come to terms with the fact that certain classes, specs and team makeups don't work. Feral druids and boomkin arent very good, resto is, and shamans of all specs have a hard time. If you really want to do well, you need to spec resto yourself and find a warrior + rogue/warlock/hunter. Also, by now arenas have been going for over a year and anyone trying out a new character in competitive arena is going to be horribly outgeared even at the sub 1500 level.
I probably wouldn't advise stepping into arenas with anything less than 250 resilience per teammember.
But suck up those losses and keep at it, eventually the points will come in. Arena isn't a fast-track to gear, it's a very long term investment.

Best bet is probably to farm honour like a beast and save up for season 2 resto set and spec resto, then find a MS warrior buddy and stick to 2V2's.

Even as resto i fell fast ok my gear was ballance but i had plus 750 healing.Thinking of lvling OP class like hunter or lock for arena
Wanted to lvl my waroir for it but if my feral suck so hard in arena waroir probably gonne suck more.

It was funny how faste we died we were even afraid to charge in after 7th loss lol.
I dont think its even close to fair.Whole team stood 1min that with palas bubble he lives the longest lol.
We are 3 hybrids maybe arena just for pure classes.

Strange how you have changed your view of the N00b hunter class, to a OP class. Things change when you hit 70. Regardless of what you think of your class pre 70, everything changes once you reach 70.

For arena, resto spec druids with decent resilience are probably one of the BEST partners for any team. Learn to abuse LoS, dish out your HoT's, keep them stacked, hit travel form, and run... run like you have never runned before. Drink up at every possible gap you get, and keep those HoT's stacked. And dont be shy with cyclone's. Every bit of CC helps. With natures swiftness + HoT's, I cant see them nuking your partner down.

But yes, Shammies + Hunters are no1 targets in arena. Resilience is everything in there.

Petruz if you're looking to get some quick Resillience gear there is that new 'starter' set that you can buy if you have enough Sha'tar, Thrallmar and Cenarion Rep.

Get that and then improve it as you farm more and more honour.

Well not gone say all hunter are noobs but i have seen skilled player won by hunters with no skill.
Same goes for Warlocks but i see rogues givem hell these days.

Well the whole lvl 70 pvp thing got me confused maybe because my gear suck.I have seen ferals beatdown epic gered waroirs in duels then i have seen waroirs smack down warlock with ease were most ferals die vs locks.

Not tto keen on specing resto my druid my only lvl 70 that can do quests for my alt to get them money with him resto i would be poor no gold.

I got myself those blue pre s1 gear for ballance for feral i have full s1 epix just not the weapon yet got green weapon.Wich i knew about those pre s1 epics before i farmed bg for s1.Thx for tip anyways.

Druids are actually one of the best Arena classes (at least if you look at % in top brackets)

Cyclone is possibly the best pvp cc around since it cannot be dispelled and is for the most part spammable.

The pain with arena is learning the combinations and understanding who to cc/nuke/kite or whatever you decide to do. Once you have that sorted and obtain some resilience things get better

EDIT: Resto druids are good at Arena. Feral/Boomkin is not bad but Resto is just simply amazing.

Feral and Balance just sucks for arena. It's just a simple fact. Tons and tons of resilience isn't going to change the fact that Balance has no real interrupts or dispels or instant burst, or that Feral has no hamstring or mortal strike or fearbreaks.
And +750 healing isn't nearly enough. You want a proper resto set if you plan on being resto for arena. Your hots need to be ticking for good amounts, so you need for eg the S1 staff with it chanted with +81healing etc etc. Again, the reason druids are strng arena healers is because of the way hots 'combo' with resilience, if your partners don't have the resilience needed to negate crits so your hots can run their course, it's not going to matter. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.
Get the Season 0.5 resto set, get the Season1 healing staff, read some strats on tips on being resto on the internet and get the right class and spec of teammates, and you'll do better. But if you insist on playing feral or balance and bringing along an elemental shammy to a 3v3 (they're only good for 5v5), you're jsut going to have to live with the fact that you're going to be living in subpar land. Trust me, i know, I play a resto sham in a 3v3 with a feral druid and a full demo lock, and we've just accepted the fact that we'll never really be anything more than merely mediocre. Individual skill really only helps so much. Synergy and gear is just as important.

I play both classes in arena, both hunter and druid, and honestly, a resto spec druid is one of my most hated + feared opponents when playing my hunter. If you viper sting the bugger to drain his mana, he shifts to bear form, then the sting is useless. Or he kites me all over the map in travel form. And you cant ignore him, since you wont kill his partner as long as he has mana.

I play with around +1600 healing in arena with my druid, and I see dps classes nuke their entire mana pool out on my partner, and I have no problem keeping him up. Granted the higher your ratings get, the harder it gets. Proper PVP gear is keeping me back on my druid from reaching higher rankings, but I am hoping to make the 1700 ratings soon. All these years, my hunter has always been my favorite character, so I tend to put more effort into his gear, pvp gear etc. Already have my 5k arena points saved up on my hunter, just waiting for S4 gear to get released.

Well my 3v3 team consists of a Feral druid, elemental shaman and BM hunter. We struggle to get over 1600 rating, but it is still loads of fun. Any targeted focused by all 3 dies, burst damage is just insane. The end of each fight is usualy our feral going 1 on 1 with the remaining member of the other side.

Oh and Petruz, its not unusual for a new team to loose the first 20 odd games. Keep at it and improve your gear. Your possibly only ranked 1300 at the moment and need to fight other teams in this range. When your whole team have 200+ resiliance you may up your rating to 1450 or so. Getting higher than that you need to be good, have the right team setup, communication (TS), and a lot of patience...
Welcome to the real world of PVP :D
