ARgh $##$% Nedbank

Going to Rant and ask advice,

Got a nedbank gold card (current account) through nedbank, applied for an overdraft, signed all the associated forms (Stating I successfully got Rx.xx Granted). I phone today asking what time my overdraft will be loaded and have been told I must first move my salary and all stop orders onto it before its loaded which can take up to a month.

I have already spent most of my salary paying up clothing accounts etc and was relying on the overdraft.

So very very pissed. Suggestions?

Not much you can do. Does not help fighting with the bank...

complain on hellopeter. that get's their attention - and be really harsh and vocal about their service - they'll fold - and grant you your OD.

It sucks, but most banks require that your salary be paid into the account on which the overdraft is being granted. It's why there are no minimum repayments set on overdrafts.
