ARMA3 with and without Epoch

OMFS,

I'm in love with this game. I have no idea how I have missed the ARMA series all these years. Anyone else playing?
 
bought it this morning, not sure when I'll get to play though :o

I suggest you play what you have first. Once you fire up ARMA3, anything else seems so bleh... :p

I have now lost all interest in CS:GO, Insurgency, Witcher3 and anything else on my PC
 
I've checked some videos about the game on YouTube and Twitch - seems very tactical/strategic and not just gun and run like most FPS's today.

You'll return to CS:GO.
There's no leaving CS:Go.
I have played all of them, CS:GO still remains my top choice.

Exactly why I love it :o

We as a group of 4 players yesterday were running/walking around in a platoon. We would get under fire, bulk down. Take about 2 minutes to ascertain where the shooting is coming from. Then you need to try hit them from a distance and the guns are realistic. The odds of you hitting someone at distance with an assault rifle and no scope is insanely low. Having to use a compass to pass on direction of gun fire/enemies spotted and the likes. You sweat, it just feels so realistic. As soon as the enemies have been identified the gun fights are over pretty quick. Loot and off you go, just to be running into another ambush. What's also great is dying doesn't have that much of a consequence. You gear up again pretty quickly and back to fighting you go.

I haven't even tried using vehicles and choppers yet.

Only Gripe:
I swear that game uses 120 keys of my 104 keyboard... I have not found a key yet that is not being used :D

Took me about 2 hours to move and bind keys so I can play it my way. And I still haven't even touched 98% of the keys.
