Looking for something comfortable but affordable. as close to R250 as possible. any advice ?

What happened on running with a simple stop-watch and focusing on the exercise and not on the constant need to record anything.

Is it because of Discovery and the promise to get a free smoothie at Kauai?

I use it for music as well as the Zombies, Run and C25K.... I got a holster from Sportsman's in blue (for the iPhone 6) which works perfectly well except the fingerprint recognition

It's the era of tracking & user data/stats.. if people could they would track what their poop contained too haha. But yah, 1st there was the error of geolocation, then wearables(not smart watches) started with stats, then fitbit in particularly & later smart watches pushed this hard into the consumer domain which is more or less where we are.

Discovery using the data is what makes Discovery a global leader in the insurance business

That's the thing, everyone is so obsessed with recording their activity.

And I'm not even talking about the type that post all their 2.6km jogs on Facebook

The only time you need a GPS type sports watch is when you are properly training for a marathon/iron-man/triathlon/MTB etc.

Btw I have one that will likely fit a 4S not sure about 5S (I suspect it's tight for that). It's laying about somewhere at home and will give to anyone who will use it. (Grey strap will add a pic).

Then I also have bicycle mount for iPhone 5S users, water & shock proof with touch screen working thru cover.. Freebie since I used a handful times and the cover used a lot but all functional with extra bike straps and water proofing.

Both free to whomever has an appropriate phone and in vicinity of these Gauteng places: Centurion, Brooklyn(Pta), or Kilarny(I'm visiting someone there soon, meh Jhb ) over the next few days.

Reason: I have a iPhone 6S and hate having all these extra stuff laying about

Having used both, I prefer the waist strap holder for my phone when I do exercise. It's much more inconspicuous, you sometimes forget it's still on when you get home.

Yip I stopped using the bike mount.. I used initially and saw someone try to rip it at the 94.7 race while I was drinking cool drink on the bike!! (He clearly never had one else he would have known it's futile as it's pretty sturdy and screwed in).

With Strava you can set it to heads up display and watch speed and other stats on screen which was cool. (Prior to Strava getting this had to use other bike apps).

Nowadays I just toss phone in camelbak, start t and off I go..
