Just gone through the 1st two episodes of season one, the show is bad. The acting, direction and script it's all bad. I'm wondering if the show improves later on or shall I drop it and move to something else.?

I'll keep watching it, at least it has action, which is so lacking in most TV shows...

Now that's true. Have about 6 episodes left of the latest season since 2 months ago. Still don't feel like watching it.
Yep, you can almost guarentee that dead characters aren't dead.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Oliver's mother alive...

It is based on a comic book, so reality isn't exactly the main focus.

People who watch Arrow don't expect The Wire or that sort. They just want some "action" low grade tv to while away idle time. If that's what you prefer in your tv series you should be alright.

I had a lot of time to kill so I binge watched everything from season 1 till latest episode. It's ok, I much prefer it to The Flash. The Flash is just lame and boring.

Arrow season1 is bad, really bad. But it does get a lot better especially when it ties in with Flash. If you like Flash then you will like Arrow and vice versa

Season one took some time to get going. The payoff is Malcolm who I like as a big bad. Season two was my best 'tho because Slade.
It's no Fargo but I enjoy it nevertheless and it's given us The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. As a DC fan, I think it's part of the most thoughtfully constructed comic universe on television... There are Easter eggs everywhere.
Also, like it or not, a lot of action shows should learn from the fight choreography in Arrow. Into the Badlands is the first series to even come close.
Finally, Felicity, Laurel, Sara, Nissa and Thea are just plain smokin', and that always goes into the win column for me.

Flash is way boring... at least with Arrow people are shot and beat, a goeie skop skiet en donner, while most other shows seems to just be drama and/or love *spit!*, with no action.
Wonder what Legends of Tomorrow will bring, at least it has the Schofield brothers.

I got bored with the latest Arrow season, 1 + 2 are good. I liked the Flash when it directly tied in with Arrow.

I wish Spartacus had stayed a good show. Mmmm, wonder if there will be a new Strike Back, that was also a good action show.
