actually very few support their position if you look at the many polls on the subject, though I imagine a lot more people are not posting their support as they do not want to become the victim of troll ridicule and bullied

It is impossible to get logic out of Alan when it comes to Obama/Republicans/Liberals... he's a complete loon on those subjects. He will not debate the points raised only take subliminal jibes at liberals & Obama. He doesn't know how to defend his heroes his defence is attacking the opponent's heroes (as imagined by himself). He thinks everyone's position is set in stone, so if you say something pro-Obama then that must be your stance no matter what!

um, this thread is about his mother and her comments to support him. So we are not allowed to comment on her and her support of him then? :confused:

Or even allowed to crack a few jokes? Seems like there are more pro-censorship advocates on MyBroadBand than in the USA! :D

I don't think anyone is saying you guys are not allowed an opinion. I personally just don't get the vehemence and smugness of your opinions, as well as the attitude directed at those who support Assange.
