Article: Farm murders genocide: CDP

It is more of a case where authorities are trying to turn a blind eye to plaasmoorde.

The government turns a blind eye to all murder (& most of it isn't even farm murder).
I agree however,
by disbanding the commandos, disbanding the specialized units that delt with farm murders and not treating farm murders as a special crime that needs intensive focus makes one wonder if they are capable of controlling the farm crime in this country. Farming in this country is a very strategic point for government and they don't realize it.

The CDP needs to get themselves a dictionary.

Really?
Maybe you should go and read the definition again

Top US genocide expert says this is a genocide

S. Puren
In November 2008, veterinarian Dr Victor Prinsloo was shot by an armed youth gang who had broken into his homestead north of Pretoria and gunned him down with his wife Laetitia while the couple were asleep. Nothing was robbed. Laetitia died, he is recovering. The world's top genocide experts says Afrikaners such as Prinsloo are targeted for a 'secret genocide".
Like this
This past year alone, at least 50 white homesteaders in this same region in the Magalies mountains north of Pretoria have already been murdered in often sustained siege-like attacks by large groups of armed youths. Often, these youths would arrive the farm and ask for the homesteader by name, and then gun the breadwinner of the family down in cold blood, often stealing little of any value. Often they were also gunned down from the outside, seated at their computers or watching TV. Also see

According to Dr Gregory Watson, an American genocide expert who founded the organisation Genocide Watch, says that these mysterious murders on South African farmers fall under genocidal attacks - even though such a small group of people is involved. He already issued a call in 2002, warning that these attacks were increasing in intensity, accompanied by growing hate-speech by government officials targetting white farmers, and would eventually culminate in an all-out genocide unless the authorities intervened. See his report and his video explaining the nature of genocide above, and here The SA government however calls these 'ordinary crimes'.

Genocide????

How many citizens in the townships are killed daily??? But we have white genocide..

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.

Obviously it will exclude your run of the mill everyday township murder.

Funny how in this country you are bombarded daily with racial stats, i.e. black/white ownership of listed companies, disparities between black/white income, land/home ownership of blacks/whites, etc. but when it comes to CRIME these stats are not racialized when distributed. Makes you think doesn't it. What is the ANC trying to hide?

Genocide????

How many citizens in the townships are killed daily??? But we have white genocide..

it is not about numbers, its about systematic polarization against the white and especially boer community and the failure of government to act against looneys who sing songs about killing them. maybe you need to comprehend what genocide actually is.

The last I checked, Malema wasn't in Zimbabwe singing about killing people in the townships, but about killing the boer. Sure murders and killing are a problem everywhere but condoning and promoting those actions against a certain population group is promoting genocide. Malema must be charged and jailed he has blood on his hands.

Thank you for educating our experts here :) well said

Exactly

Your constant cries of BS genocide are an insult/sacrilegious/insolent to those who have suffered actual genocide!

What nonsense, you want to suggest there's a systematic murder campaign to cleanse this country of white people?

What nonsense, you want to suggest there's a systematic murder campaign to cleanse this country of white people?

Lets see there are 8 stages of genocide, the organization Genocide watch has given the farm murders in SA a 5/8, the jump from 6 to 7 is very fast if instigated, we aren't at the 'panic level yet however we must continue with caution'. The united nations have put farm murders in the loop, this is not something which should be taking likely. Violent crime is everywhere in SA, however this doesn't exclude the possibility that some of these crimes especially farm murders can be racially motivated.

1. CLASSIFICATION - I believe you can agree that SA does distinguish between white and black people
2. SYMBOLIZATION - White people have white skins, blacks have black kins, this is very obvious there is no need to panic yet.
3. DEHUMANIZATION - The good old hatred and blaming the white people for everything that goes wrong in SA and devilising them.
4. ORGANIZATION - There have been race and hate crimes in SA, if this isn't organization then what is, it might be on a minority scale, however people are dying.
5. POLARIZATION - "shoot the boer", dividing the view of the masses into a black and white world. We can all agree that our politicians have done so

6. PREPARATION: - at this stage preparation starts and victims are identified, I wouldn't say that we are there yet, step 7 follows very quickly on this
7. EXTERMINATION - Not there yet
8. DENIAL - Something which is not uncommon in Africa.

As for the proof of a systematic murder campaign, lets look at the realities
a) The government has disbanded the commandos, which served to protect the farming communities
b) The government disbanded specialized groups dealing with farm murders
c) With the current gun laws the government is trying to disarm the public
d) The labour related laws makes it difficult for farmers to employ and make a living
e) The number of farmers going down and those being killed speaks for itself
f) The constant dehumination and land claim talks referring to farmers who 'stole' the land.
g) The government reclassified farm murders as just an ordinary murder so the statistics of farm murders won't be reflected in the same serious light when the police deals with murders.

Now this might sound very sensational to you, however if you live on a farm community it becomes a reality. The government themselves as I said might not wholehearthly be behind the killing of farmers - however they have turned a blind eye and made live very difficult for them to maintain their way of life. Given this, systematic elimination doesn't start overnight, its a process of polarization. This must be stopped in its tracks, we cannot just sit and not try to act before it is to late. I hope you now have a clear understanding of how genocide occurs.

Those 'steps' apply to all races in this country. Both white & black people are guilty of racial hatred...

As for the proof of a systematic murder campaign, lets look at the realities
a) The government has disbanded the commandos, which served to protect the farming communities
The government doesn't want to allow the nurture of a rag tag group of armed people who aren't accountable to it. The commandos could easily degenarate into a terrorist organisation. Many a right wing plot is hatched on farms. Plus the government cannot justify special protection for farmers when the majority of the population make the largest victim group of murder.
b) The government disbanded specialized groups dealing with farm murders
See above, what's so special about farm murders. They may be particularly vulnerable but that should only warrant the same investigation/prosecution as all murder.
c) With the current gun laws the government is trying to disarm the public
That applies to everyone who lives in this country.
d) The labour related laws makes it difficult for farmers to employ and make a living
Those laws apply to all farmers & employers. They could mechanise & employ less people.
e) The number of farmers going down and those being killed speaks for itself
BS! Of the 18K+ killed every year, how many are white farmers & what %
f) The constant dehumination and land claim talks referring to farmers who 'stole' the land.
BS! Who pulled that outta...
g) The government reclassified farm murders as just an ordinary murder so the statistics of farm murders won't be reflected in the same serious light when the police deals with murders.
All murder must be treated equally unless someone can come up with non-right wing evidence that farm murder ought to be treated different. Government ministers have always been at pains to explain that they do take farm murder seriously. And mind you they don't do this for other murder.

Genocide????

How many citizens in the townships are killed daily??? But we have white genocide..

How many whites are killed by whites? how many blacks are killed by blacks? How many whites are killed by blacks? . . . go play some numbers/percentages.
It's also a "land" issue. Yes, the experts have called this "nothing else but genocide".
Wanna see a country fall? Cut the throat of him who feeds you.....

Those 'steps' apply to all races in this country. Both white & black people are guilty of racial hatred...
Some of the steps, 1-3 yes, further on I disagree

As for the proof of a systematic murder campaign, lets look at the realities

a) The government has disbanded the commandos, which served to protect the farming communities
The government doesn't want to allow the nurture of a rag tag group of armed people who aren't accountable to it. The commandos could easily degenarate into a terrorist organisation. Many a right wing plot is hatched on farms. Plus the government cannot justify special protection for farmers when the majority of the population make the largest victim group of murder.
Exactly, desentralization of power, leaving the white community vulnerable to defend itself, while the commandos could have protected more than just the farming community. However why couldn't the commando employ black members as well? This rightwing element is a poor excuse to be honest the rest of the military could have squashed them like a bug, as they did with the AWB's pathetic attempt as Baputapatswana in 92.

b) The government disbanded specialized groups dealing with farm murders
See above, what's so special about farm murders. They may be particularly vulnerable but that should only warrant the same investigation/prosecution as all murder.
It is a strategic point for the country, without food we will starve, however besides that farm murders werent the only specalized group, just this week they wanted to disband the watercops once again saying that they are to white, its just another step into disarming the public, I will also put it down to incompetence and missmanagement.
c) With the current gun laws the government is trying to disarm the public
That applies to everyone who lives in this country.
so what? It still disarms the farming community, its just a better way to justify what they are trying to achieve, we all know that they haven't been keen on hiding the land grab idea. This once again leaves the public vulnerable to defend itself. And in particular the farming community as the politicians are changing a 'metaphor' to shoot them.

d) The labour related laws makes it difficult for farmers to employ and make a living
Those laws apply to all farmers & employers. They could mechanise & employ less people.
Who is going to fund them? In the past and in European countries the state actually subsidizes farmers in times of need, however this has been taken away by the current regime, clearly feeding a nation isn't a priority for them

e) The number of farmers going down and those being killed speaks for itself
BS! Of the 18K+ killed every year, how many are white farmers & what %
It is not about numbers, as I posted before in this thread its about the systematic polarization which does exist.

f) The constant dehumination and land claim talks referring to farmers who 'stole' the land.
BS! Who pulled that outta...
Go see the ANCYL and cosatu for an example

g) The government reclassified farm murders as just an ordinary murder so the statistics of farm murders won't be reflected in the same serious light when the police deals with murders.
All murder must be treated equally unless someone can come up with non-right wing evidence that farm murder ought to be treated different. Government ministers have always been at pains to explain that they do take farm murder seriously. And mind you they don't do this for other murder.

Not exactly, the reclassification was part of the desentralization process, however this is once again a mismanagement problem, the whole equality thing might appeal to you, however in practice it doesn't work that way, police in England in the USA achieve greater results by working in specialized groups - the old SA police force did the same, nowadays they can bearly read of write, let alone defend their own citizens. The government officials including the president have said much - in reality and practice they have only said much. They don't condem the Cosatu idiots celebrating or justifying wage disputes for a motive to murder farmers.
